Amy is my employee and—more importantly—my unmarked mate. She works day and night, and tells me she loves it. She’s a demon, and therefore an expert deceiver, but I know my mate, and I want her life sorted out.
Tonight, when I show up at my bar to help Amy close her shift, there’s another bartender in her place. I stop by her house, and discover her belongings are gone. When I dig through the trash for clues, I find the pregnancy test.
